There are 2 features I'd love to see added to the Grid:
HORIZONTAL MODE
Right now, the grid assumes a vertical/down orientation: the developer specifies columns, and the grid fills across then down, as new images are added. I'd like to be able to have a horizontal/right orientation: the developer specifies the number of *rows*, and as new images are added, the grid places them down, then to the right of previous images. So a visitor would scroll horizontally to view all images, rather than scrolling down the page.
This feature is specially important when we want to have a gallery with an arbitrary number of images, but we also want the gallery to take up only a set amount of vertical space on the page.
SHOW PAGINATION
Set a number of images per 'page', and show a pagination widget to allow visitors to browse through. This is another strategy to limit the amount of layout space a gallery might take, when giving the client the ability to add an arbitrary number of images.
